Week 1 (April 20th)
Sermon:
Journey Through The Early Church - Lesson 1

Activity: Ball Pit Puzzle

In the Ball Pits, Scatter the puzzle pieces throughout the ball pit, making sure to hide the pieces well.

Split the Kids into 2 teams.

Have the teams send one kid at a time to the pit and have them dig in the ball pit for puzzle piece to complete their puzzle.

Once they get a piece they run back to their team table and the next kid goes.
-
The first team that completes their puzzle wins the game.

Week 2 (April 27th)
Sermon:
Journey Through The Early Church - Lesson 2

Activity: Rubber Chicken Bucket Toss

Divide into Teams: Split participants into teams with an equal number of players. Giving them the corresponding color of chickens. (5 teams total)

Set Up Buckets: Place buckets at varying distances from the tossing line. Assign points to each bucket based on difficulty (e.g., 10 points for the closest, 30 for mid-range, and 50 for the farthest).

Rules of Tossing: Each player gets three rubber chickens. They toss them one at a time, trying to land them into the buckets to score points.

Rotate Players: After one player completes their turn, the next teammate steps up. Continue until everyone has had a chance to toss.

Special Challenges: Add twists like tossing from a blindfolded position or using non-dominant hands for bonus rounds.

Winning: At the end of all rounds, tally the points. The team with the most points wins!

Week 3 (May 4th)
Sermon:
Journey Through The Early Church - Lesson 3

Activity: Extreme Snowball Battle
Snowball battle is dodgeball but with snowballs.

Split the room into two teams.

Make a boundary for each team and some obstructions to use as shields (tables or chairs).

During the Battle they can go anywhere in the room.
-
Once a person gets hit anywhere on their body, including their head, they are out. They must leave the battle zone and line up on the side or go to a designated jail area.

For jailbreak, they can all go back in.
-
A team wins when all the opposing players are knocked out.
-
Once you have a winner, switch sides. If no one gets a jailbreak, then the leader can call Jailbreak so no one gets bored.

Variations: boys vs. girls, leaders vs. kids, free-for-all.

Week 4 (May 11th)
Sermon:
Journey Through The Early Church - Lesson 4

Activity: Balloon Bonanza
​

Split the kids into groups of 4.
-
Have (2) groups of 4 face off in a battle until the first balloon to touch the ground ends the game.
-
The goal is to have the balloon touch the other teams side before a balloon touches the ground on their side.
-
No hitting the balloons down allowed.
