Monday
Sermon:
Fruit of the Spirit - Joy
Activity:Aug15th Snowball Battle
Snowball battle is dodgeball but with snowballs. Split the room into 2 teams. Make a boundary for each team and some obstructions use tables and chairs. Once a person gets hit anywhere on their body including their head they are out. They must leave the battle zone and line up on the side. If you call jailbreak they can all go back in. A team wins will all the opposing players are knocked out. Once you win switch sides. Call jail break plenty of times during one round to make sure nobody is getting bored. You could play boys vs girls after you have a clear winning team.

Activity:
Aug 16th Red Light Green Light Traffic Jam
Split your group into two equal groups and tell them each to stand by a chair on their team’s side of the room (two people won’t have chairs–one on each side).
When you say “Green Light” teams will race across the room to sit in a chair. Two people (one on each team) will be left without a chair. They are out. Take away a chair from each side, and play again, taking away 2 (one from each side) chairs each round.
You can say Red Light, to stop them and then change what type of movement they do to make it across to the other side such as crawl, crab walk, side shuffle, moonwalk, or skip. then say Green Light to have them move again.

Activity:
Aug 19th Balloon Volleyball
Create a barrier either chairs or tables or a mix of both.
Separate into 2 teams on each side of the barrier. Put anywhere from 3 to 7 balloons into play. If a balloon touches the ground at any time the opposite team scores a point. You can only hit the same ball once, you have to wait for someone else to hit it before you can hit it again.
