Sermon: Who is Jesus? Lesson 1

Activity: Snowball Chaos

How to Play:

  • Split into 2 or 4 teams with a clearly marked zone for each team.

  • Spread snowballs all around the play area—not just in the center.

  • On “GO!”, teams must throw as many snowballs as possible INTO OTHER TEAMS' ZONES.

  • They cannot throw snowballs out of their own zone (only gather & throw from their area).

Rules:

  • Only throw one snowball at a time.

  • You can gather snowballs in your zone as fast as you want.

  • NO BLOCKING the zone entrance or guarding like a goalie.

After 2–3 minutes, shout: “SNOWBALL RESET!”

  • Everyone drops the snowballs and freezes.

Scoring:

  • Count how many snowballs are in each team’s zone.

  • The team with the fewest snowballs in their zone wins!

  2. On the opposite side, set up:

    • A launch zone where kids use the slingshots to fire Squishmallows.

    • Create a safe line for waiting players.

Sermon: Who is Jesus? Lesson 3

Activity: Balloon Volleyball

  • Teams take turns hitting the balloon over the net using hands, arms, or heads.

  • Each team can hit the balloon up to 3 times before sending it over the net.

  • Don’t let the balloon hit the ground! If it does, the other team scores a point.

  • Play to 5, 10, or 15 points, or just for fun without keeping score.

Sermon: Who is Jesus? Lesson 4

Activity: Team Fishing Relay

  1. On "GO!", the first player from each team runs to the pool, grabs the fishing pole, and tries to "fish" out one fish using only the magnet — no hands!

  2. Once they successfully catch a fish, they run it back to their team and drop it in a team basket/bucket.

  3. Then, the next teammate goes!

  4. Keep going until everyone on the team has had a turn.

  5. Set a 2–3 minute timer and see who catches the most fish.

  • Add point values to fishes (e.g., color-coded: Green = 5 pts, blue = 2 pts, The rest = 1pts ) for a score-based win.
